This review probably doesn’t make sense to most people so I thought I would
explain it. This is about how well the game holds up after three months after
release. So it includes multiplayer, co-op and forge.

Multiplayer is still fun and offers fresh moments like if you hit someone with a
rocket while they’re flying across the map off of a man cannon. But I did that
months ago you say… Well the truth is you probably did, but there are many other
things like gaining EXP (experience) and advancing through the ranks. You can
also take a screen shot of yourself pulling off crazy stuff and sending it to
bungie.
net to show off all you want.

Forge is still pretty interesting especially with the content/map pack that added
items and foundry among 2 other maps. I have even played a forge map called
storm the beach which has fusion coils for artillery fire and all sorts of crazy stuff
like that. The simple fact is that there is nothing better than killing your friend with a
flood light while he has a Spartan Laser.

Co-op is still fun as long as you turn on some skulls and campaign scoring. There
are always things to do or try in campaign, but you are really playing the same
game over again with a little different experience so after a while it is expected that
it will gat boring.

Over all I think that Halo 3 is a great game even 3 months after it shipped.
